About RBFO

The Forensic Research Agency (RBFO) was founded in 2004 as an international network of experts providing professional forensic services. Our goal remains to provide scientific and medical services of the highest quality and training relevant to civil or criminal law. Our objectives and reputation have expanded our work worldwide. Challenging seemingly 'orthodox' views, which may only prove to be a very local perspective, and promoting the presentation of correctly weighed and carefully examined evidence have been characteristic of our work.

Our extensive expertise comes from around the world and includes public and private forensic scientific laboratories, individuals, and academic institutions. In simple terms, our agency leverages the world's leading experts to offer one of the most comprehensive and high-quality sources of forensic scientific and management expertise anywhere.

Our forensic DNA services include criminal investigations and kinship testing (paternity), while our forensic toxicology and scientific advice extend to workplace drug testing and health and safety assessments. In addition to image analysis, we can provide expertise in forensic digital evidence, such as the analysis of mobile phones and other media storage.

In addition to our well-known criminal work, our diverse workload has included the scientific assessment of stamps, investigation into sources of industrial contamination, identification of various substances, traffic accidents, food contamination, and the identification of potential radiation hazards. Projects have been conducted in the UK, the US, New Zealand, Australia, Egypt, Jordan, India, Pakistan, and Turkey. During that time, we have had a significant impact on the use of scientific and medical evidence in courts worldwide.

In 2014, we added paternity testing and workplace drug testing to our services and expanded our criminal defense work to the US.
